Baby Photography
Do you have recollections of being a baby?
I was reading the Autobiography of a Yogi online and in the first chapter, Yogananda speaks of remembering his babyhood.
I have many memories of being a baby, and some of the scenes were independently confirmed by my mother when I finally told her about them as an adult.
I can remember looking out of the bars of my crib, of my first steps, of baby-carriage rides, of meeting relatives who moved away before I was two, of a photography session when I was a year old, and so on.
Do you remember part of your babyhood?
Yes. I remember being amazed as I started to hear from other people that they couldn’t even remember being five. Up till that point, I had assumed that everyone could remember as far back as I could.
I guess some people just become self-aware before others, as to why this is, I can not say, although I’ve heard a few ideas concerning it.
Zoltar: I have specific memories going back much further than that, and I can even remember everything I got for my second birthday as though it was yesterday.
