Digital Photography Software
Are there any digital camera software for product photography where the camera and computer are in sync?
I would find a solution for synchronizing a digital camera (Canon rebel) with a computer. Anything that can cut the need for the exchange of memory cards and enable batch name for a group of images. It would be very useful in product photography workflow. If you take several shots of a single product, say 10 images, so why can not you just use the camera to capture images> send automatically to a computer interface for preview> then give the group of 10 images a batch name. It would be great to keep things efficient and well tidy. Thank you for any help.
I take a lot of photography of the product. In my workflow, I draw from each product and then hand the card to my assistant and they download the image files to "work in progress" computer, while I continue shooting the following configuration using a card. They then use Adobe Bridge to add the copyright notice, my contact information, product information and keywords to the EXIF data image files and save them all with new sequences of filename. Until then, I have a new card ready for them. I ten small cards 2GB CF I use when I shoot photos of the products table, and I've never had a problem shooting faster than my assistant can "Treat" the resulting images.
