I'm looking for advice on the conduct of a fashion photography project?

I am a high school advanced photography course, and our next task is to make a way of photography. A movie was filmed black and white, mostly 35mm SLR, although we can use the medium and large, if we want. We have a complete photographic studio, so that we can use the studio lighting and decorations and more. I never done anything close to fashion photography and I really have no idea how to go about this project. I took a couple of fashion magazines (Vogue, Bazaar, Elle) and have been looking through the inspiration and seeking advice in the books of instruction. So if anyone here is involved in fashion photography and glamorous, it would be very useful if you want to give me some tips on how to prepare this these things are helpful, with the firing, anything you think would be good to know.
