Learn digital photography – Back to basics with books
You can call the disease of digital photography or perhaps the death of photography. The reality is that digital aa led to a decline in the quality of the photograph. There are several reasons, one of them being the speed of digital technology and the lack of reflection before the outbreak. Quick on the draw and not enough scrutiny.
This was a hobbyhorse of mine for several years and some have told to get off and stop flogging a dead horse. They may be right and perhaps a bit wrong. But there is a solution or rather a number of alternatives. The one I want to take into account is back to basics. Most vocations decline where the skills it is time to go back to basics. This is where the problem lies in digital photography. The essential is that to learn digital photography you need to learn the basics of photography.
There are two things that must be done, then. Back at the base or if you have not learned the basics, start with them. That is the big question is. How can we go back or start with bases. The key word is learning. Learn photography or to learn digital photography. Picking up a camera and shooting does not make you not a photographer. So what do we do? Acquiring skills. This is much easier said than done.
Our generation is the generation most likely that we have the Internet and the ability to read, read and read. Again easier said than done. What I would suggest is that the acquisition of specific books including literature on photography. The Internet is full of them separately downloadable electronic editions. But lets go further and return to paper books. There is a number that I consider fundamental the library of every aspiring photographer. Then, here are some suggestions:
1. The Digital Photography Book by Scott Kelby
Scott Kelby gives you the advantage of insiders use simple advice. It is easy to understand and very simple to use resulting photographs great.
2. Understanding Exposure: How to take great photographs of a film or a digital camera (updated edition) by Bryan Peterson
The exhibition and how to use the opening and the shutter speed always confused me until I read Bryan Peterson's book on the exhibition. A book must be in your library.
3. The Photographer's Eye: Composition and Design for Better Digital Photos by Michael Freeman
Michael has been around for donkey's years and manages a subject that needs all the digital photographer. Composition. By understanding the composition of your photos will improve a hundredfold.
4. Learning to see creatively: design, color and composition Photography (Updated Edition) by Bryan Peterson
To some of us to see how creative is a natural ability with any other is something we need to learn or acquire. This is one of the best books I've read on the creativity in photography.
5. Masterclass Digital Photography by Ang Tom
Tom Ang has been around a long time and with this book you takes further you travel photography. Great assignments throughout this book. It will take you to a new level.
6. Understanding Shutter speed: Creative Action and Low-Light Photography Beyond 1 / 125 second by Bryan Peterson
This book is linked to his exposure and other permits consolidate your understanding of how to use the shutter speed.
7. Understanding Digital Photography: Techniques Get good Photo by Bryan Peterson
How the plan is what it is. Bryan is thinking before pressing the shutter button too quickly and fail to The digital disease. If there was a solution to a man of this problem, Bryan Peterson.
Some of my favorite authors and photographers have strengthened my photography dramatically. Returning to the principles of photographic composition and learning not only to photography and digital photography you become a better photographer more rounded. Do not allow digital take you back. Take the great principles of photography and apply digital. Remember, great photographers take great pictures in any other format, digital or film. Keep learning and never stop making beautiful images.
