Photography: What Bulb Setting and How?
I have a Canon PowerShot S3
The Canon S3 has not the "B" bulb setting … the longer exposure was timed 15 seconds. The bulb setting is used to make higher exposures timed exposure covered by the cameras shutter speeds. This generally use a release distance on the camera to open and lock the shutter open as long as necessary to capture things like trails of stars, "Chains" of light on the roads and even paint with light.
