Photography For Dummies
My friend wants me to take pictures of her wedding?
I am a budding photographer and my best friend is getting married in October. I know a bit about photography and I'm actually investing in a new camera (perhaps a Canon Rebel?). I want to take the best pictures I can for her. I also Wedding shooting in September. Does anyone know any websites that are specifically help wedding photography? I would go with the Canon 20D or 30D. More expensive, but so worth it. Check eBay to online stores with unbeatable prices. Spend wedding magazines and check the poses and facial expressions. You should ask if it looks more formal poses or kicks. I hope you know photoshop fairly well. Good take some pictures of assembly. There is a digital photography for dummies book. Good Reference Guide for bases. You might also consider some tips on www.photographytips.com. With regard to the opinion of others not to do so, the only way you going to get better is to shoot. Not only is the practice. You must be on real events. If you can, find a mentor, someone who is ready to take on certain events and let you draw with them. That's how I started. I added some sessions along portraits, photos engagements, weddings, interviews with potential clients, what I could. I have observed many filmed. I saw how he dealt with people, how he has managed large groups of aggressive parents, how he answered questions, made plans, I asked many questions about lighting and posture. I was lucky that he wanted to teach me all this and had loads of patience and he helped. It has helped my skills, confidence and love of the business and photography. If you wish, you have to chase and keep driving until you are good enough to take this dream and run with it. You need to let your friend know that you are not one but professional.
