Creative Tips for photography lighting
Panning is a great technique to use if you want to create special effects in traditional fashion photography. You can create interesting images in the camera without digital manipulation and Photoshop filters. As previous articles on creative lighting, you will be using similar techniques and settings of your digital SLR. To begin, panorama is created when following a moving subject with your camera, shoot with a slow shutter speed. Here are some tips to help you get started.
When shooting for my href = "http://stevematteophotography.com/" wedding photography business, "I use the technique of panning mainly in reception. This special effect is perfect for dancing pictures, especially the line or circle dance popular in many European countries and the Middle crops East. Let's apply this technique to a large group of people holding hands and circling of the bride and groom in the center of the dance floor. You want to capture the crowd as he toured the happy couple and giving them movement.
Take a position in the center so you can see the dancers inward. In order to portray a sense of motion, you'll need use a slow shutter speed. Since 1 / 60 is the lowest component speed for stop action, you can slow things from away. Try adjusting your shutter at 1 / 10 of a second, using an appropriate f / stop and ISO to balance your exposure. If your device has a shutter sync, turn on that too. Thus, all objects and light seem to move in its true sense. If you are indoors and there is ambient light, you can add flash to light your subjects. Aim your camera at the dance and follow them in the direction they are moving. When you press the shutter button, the dancers continue to pan and follow until your show is over. If you pan at the same speed as the dancers move, the background is blurred while the dancers are in focus. If you use a flash light gives the dancers a stop action "good" effect too.
