Wedding Photography Prices
How much did you pay for your wedding photography?
I have spoke with several different photographers and I am getting an average price quote of $3300. This seems really really high to me. Is this normal? This would include 2 photographers for 6 hours and a large wedding albums as well as some prints.
How much did you pay??
This is in the San Diego metro area…
Only just made a decision on who to go with, but we are getting:
$1700 (US$1100) for 7 hours coverage, bride getting ready, groom getting ready, photo shoot a 3 locations, ceremony, family photos, another photo shoot, 2 hours of reception with studio for couples photos then trash the dress session after wedding.
Includes 1000+ high res digital negatives all colour corrected with the best touched up and DVD put to music.
It does not include an album, but we have a really good photo lab that does 6×4’s for 20c and enlargements cheap as well. The packages with albums were over $1000 more, and we found professional quality leather bound acid free dry mount albums for $70 so we are saving ourselves about $800.
The price you were quoted was the same price of the majority of photographers I interviewed. You just have to look hard for the bargains.
